Carmel Mayor Sue Finkam is pleased to announce a new City of Carmel neighborhood pop-up series, inviting residents of the Woodland Springs neighborhood and surrounding areas to a community gathering on Monday, July 28, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Woodland Springs Clubhouse North parking lot.
Neighborhood pop-up
This event offers a relaxed and engaging opportunity for community members to connect directly with Mayor Finkam, city councilors and city team members. Attendees can enjoy iced treats from Rita's Italian Ice, participate in family-friendly activities and engage in informal discussions about city services and local initiatives. Kids in attendance will also have the exciting chance to explore a Carmel Fire Department fire truck and a Carmel Police Department squad car.
"These neighborhood pop-ups are an invaluable way for me to meet residents where they live, listen to their insights and share important information about our city," said Mayor Finkam. "I encourage everyone in the Legacy area to come out, enjoy a treat and have a conversation. It's a fantastic chance to build stronger connections within our community."
The pop-up series is designed to foster open dialogue between residents and City leadership, providing a convenient platform to ask questions, offer feedback and learn more about how the City of Carmel serves its citizens.

This is the 50th year of the Page family sharing their
fireworks display with Woodland Springs!
Hello, Neighbors!
It is that time of the year again! We know how many of you plan your parties around our annual Fireworks Show, so, here are the details for this year.
We are planning to shoot our Fireworks on Saturday, July 5th.
Sunset is predicted for 9:15 pm.
We usually start shooting between 9:30pm-9:45pm, once it gets dark enough.
The hill west of the Woodland Springs Clubhouse is a common gathering place to watch our fireworks if you want a sense of community and togetherness.
*IMPORTANT NOTE: the Woodland Springs big island (North end of the lake) will be off limits from Thursday, July 3rd until Monday, July 7th. It simply isn’t going to be safe during that time and we want everyone to enjoy the weekend while staying free from danger.
Thank you, everyone, for your help with this. And thank you for being great neighbors and friends.
*Please remember, if you will be on the lake during the Show, we implore you to stay south of our property starting at 9pm (address below). Most of you know how large our Fireworks are and we have had to delay our Show for the last several years due to boats, canoes, swimmers, etc., that were too close to our firing area. We simply want everyone to be out of harm's way. Safety first.
We are delighted to bring you another fun evening and hope you are excited, too! Let's hope for clear skies!
God Bless America!!!!
Jenny, Tony, Dylan and Cody Page
11210 Lakeshore Drive East
If it floats, decorate it! Bring your best patriotic boat/canoe/kayak/SUP design out on the lake! We’ll gather in the middle of the lake at 6pm, swing by the judges’ stand on the westside shoreline, make a lap around the lake and end in front of the Judges’ stand for award presentation. Bragging rights … err ... awards include:
Most Patriotic
Best Bling
Most Enthusiastic
*Please remember, if you will be on the lake during the Page’s fireworks show, you need to stay south of their property (11210 Lakeshore Dr East) starting at 9pm

Mother Nature has not cooperated and today's high temps only predicted at 65-67F. This is below our long-standing 70F minimum (as stated in our Pool Rules) We have the Pool Closed sign out with a "Temp Below 70F" notation.
We are aware of the pool heater leak and we are waiting to hear back from the third-party firm that will find the source of the leak.
Special thanks to Dan Weingart who has offered flowers for the pool planters again this year!
