Sediment Debris Removal Project Update
/A proposal has been accepted for debris removal in the areas north and south of the steel wall near the creek. The project would use a heavy-duty vacuum truck to remove approximately 167 cubic yards of accumulated sand, mud, leaves, and rock from the site while bypassing the creek during the work.
The contractor estimates approximately 20 landfill loads will be required. Large sticks and rocks will be stacked separately for landscapers to remove.
The proposed work includes:
Vacuum removal of debris from approximately 1,175 feet north and 2,750 feet south of the steel wall.
Removal and disposal of approximately 167 cubic yards of material.
Use of specialized vacuum equipment, hoses, pumps, and support vehicles.
Approximately 60 hours of vacuum truck and labor services.
Landfill disposal for 20 loads.
Temporary water usage and fuel surcharges.
The estimated project cost is approximately $74,000.00, based on the listed quantities and rates. Final costs may vary depending on actual hours, disposal needs, fuel charges, and other project conditions.
