Lakeshore Drive East & West surround the lake, Rolling Springs Drive meanders along the southern boundaries of the neighborhood and 116th Street is the northern boundary. The community has a 42+ acre lake, swimming pool, tennis/pickleball courts, walking paths, a boat launching ramp, boat storage areas on the east and west side of the lake and fishing hideaways for all to enjoy. There are two “islands” for picnics and quiet spots to enjoy the bountiful waterfowl who are frequent visitors to Woodland Lake. Woodland Springs is conveniently located near Keystone Parkway and 116th Street on the east side of the city.
Woodland Springs children are served by Woodbrook and Forest Dale Elementary as well as Carmel and Clay Middle and Carmel High Schools. The Carmel Public Library is located on East Main Street. The Palladium for the Performing Arts, the Arts and Design District, the Farmers Market and Clay Terrace are part of the ever growing Carmel area. There are many places to shop, dine and worship all within a few miles. Woodland Springs is located less than five miles from IU North, St Vincent Carmel and St Vincent Heart Hospitals as well as Community Hospital Med Check and St Vincent Immediate Care.
